Hurricane Beryl, a devastating Category 4 system, struck Jamaica on Wednesday, July 3, with unprecedented force, affecting thousands of lives, especially those on the South Coast.
The aftermath of Hurricane Beryl has been especially challenging for our educational institutions. Of the 212 schools impacted, 64 have been identified as priority 1 due to severe damage, posing a threat to the timely reopening of schools in September.
We urgently need your help to support our recovery efforts. Together, we can rebuild and ensure that our children return to safe, functional schools.
Join us on this critical mission to Rebuild, Restore and Reopen!
In addition to the infrastructure damages, the need for educational materials and resources is more critical than ever. Many schools have lost essential supplies, leaving students without the tools they need to learn and thrive. By donating books, stationery, computers, and other educational resources, you can make a significant impact on the recovery process.
Your contributions will help us restock classrooms, support teachers, and provide students with the materials they need to continue their education uninterrupted. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to rebuilding our educational infrastructure and ensuring a brighter future for our children.
